Christmas ends

It is with incredible sadness and despair that I announce my Christmas lighting project has ended, probably forever. Though not directly based on the Christmas lights themselves, necessarily, but based on misunderstandings and fueled by irrational hysteria, people I had previously considered friends have sought to destroy me, and have been remarkably successful, at least in destroying this part of my life-long dream. Should any of those responsible happen to see this, I hope you're happy with your choices. Whatever misdeeds you incorrectly perceive in me, they seem insignificant compared to the damage and destruction you have caused me and my family. With that I bid farewell to one of my life's dreams. May those who still can, continue to enjoy the Christmas season. I expect for me that it is forever ruined.

As you can see, I left the 2006 photos, for as long as the site itself remains, and your guess may be as good as mine for that.

2006 photos at yet another new record (and every time that happens, I always think it could not possibly have happened again) of about 33,000 watts! It's probably not a light count record, however, at an estimated 36,000 lights (but, I admit this estimate probably gets even rougher with time, it's really hard to count that high).

I think Marty Slack and his Christmas Utah website are quickly becoming something of a hub for many excellent Christmas displays, including those in Utah.
